Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

By Carol

Sunday, March 1, 2015 -- Sunday Drive

For several days we have stayed close to home, so today we needed several things at the office supply store and while we were out, I told Mr. Fun that I was hungry.

We've been on a vegan diet since December 4th when Mr. Fun's doctor told him that a vegan diet was what he needed if he wanted to get healthy, stay healthy, and live for a very long time. That means no meat of any kind and no dairy of any kind (no milk, eggs, cheese -- sheeesh!). So going to eat somewhere other than home is NOT always the best idea. We decided to get a bean burrito with no cheese at the local Taco Bell.

While we were sitting in the Taco Bell eating, we could see some roof tops of houses across the freeway, and I asked Mr. Fun where exactly were those houses. So we decided to go find them. This photo is taken from that neighborhood where we had seen the house tops. This is the 15 Freeway just north of the 91 Freeway interchange near the border of the two communities of Corona and Norco (north Corona is how Norco got name). Doing a little bit of exploring was fun.

Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol

P.S. Mr. Fun has lived in this community for all of his life and I have lived here for almost that long. We've watched this community grow from under 20,000 citizens to now over 153,000. That's really quite ridiculous.
