Global Village #2
Got home from work and made a spur of the moment decision to go to Global Village - especially as the weather is still very pleasant in the evenings, and there were a few things we wanted to get. This could possibly be our least visited GV season if we don't get there again before it finishes in April!
So, we set out, battling the traffic, marvelling at the moon*, got there in what felt like no time at all and - huge surprise - a police official directed us into the VIP car park!! (Well, not just us - you know what I mean!) We have never had the privilege of parking there before and I can't tell you how nice it was not to have to walk too much to get to all the places we wanted!
First stop - Africa - where their show was going on. Really groovy music and 6 men dancing their hearts out doing some great acrobatics along the way. Then briefly through China, Italy, the UK, Spain (mojito man - bottom left), Singapore (for a mop), Yemen (for honey - top right) and finally Iran.
A very pleasant and unhurried evening, but I was way too tired to blip when I got home, falling asleep over my keyboard again!
* Woke up at 3:45am this morning and couldn't believe the moonlight streaming through right on me! A real "wow" moment.
