Dubai Lit Fest

Been a bit of a non-stop day! First church, then a quick snack lunch on the beach, then a visit to the Festival of Literature - held on the other side of town. It was interesting! Nice venue to host it (see view from window). G missed the two authors she wanted to listen to as they were on over church time.

We then raced across to the other side of town to meet up with a lady G met whilst running the book shop in 2011/2. First time in a few years, so we really did have lots to catch up on. A fantastic 3 hours happily spent; followed by a whole evening home and time to catch up on blips etc. :D

PS. Forgot to mention the live radio interview on the bottom right. Can't say I know who the author is, but it was interesting to see the equipment required to block out the noise occurring around them!

And in the bottom right picture, the white canopy gave shade to the Trinity College children's symphony orchestra and choir who performed to show off their talent. They were pretty good!
