On the up

The temperature hit a 2015 high today about 53degrees F and we did a bit if work in the garden.

Later a short walk to see if the Curlew have returned to the moors - YES. 10 seen at Moorfield - lovely to hear those calls once again. The sky pointing sign seemed to be signalling where the action was.

After that it was the exhausting Davis Cup tennis on TV with James Ward eventually between John Isner in a very long 5th set match.

Worryingly the day ends with a moorland fire visible above Tintwistle in Longdendale - Derbyshire Fire Service on the scene
