Fen life

View from the back gate. I don't know what is being sown, but it won't be beet as that was in there last year - possibly oats or barley. The green on the other side of the drove is winter wheat. The train you can see is the Kings Lynn/ Kings Cross intercity - takes 1hr 20 minutes to Kings Cross from here. The green bank behind the train line is the embankment of the River Great Ouse - shows how low-lying the fens are.
