Mother's Day flowers (for my Aunt)
Cheery spring colours to offset the dull, cloudy day and take to my 'Ancient Aunt' spending her first Mothering Sunday in a nursing home.
While at the garden centre for lunch I spotted some tulips which made me think at once of fellow Blipper Ingeborg. I loved their colour and texture so I bought some with the sole intention of photographing them. (see 'Extra' pic.)
Tomorrow I will experiment with an assortment of lenses, backgrounds, lighting and maybe even some Photoshop effects - not that I expect to get anything like the superb results that Ingeborg manages - but at least I have learnt from her that the beauty does not die as the flower wilts - so I can try again on several days later!
