Mountain Fires

It's been a pretty intense few days!  Fires in Cape Town in which 5 500 hectares of mountain were burned.  Many creatures lost their lives in the fires and I hope they have a wonderful rebirth.  Yet this past week has been an invigorating experience for me.  I've learned so much and got to know some amazing people.  Not everyone gets the opportunity to spend 2 hours in the moonlight, listening horses chewing and owls hooting across the fields.  I'm so proud to be part of this amazing community.
