Disappearing

The 1930s tenements designed by the city architect, Ebenezer Macrae, replaced what had become slums and created solid, well-designed council homes.

These are about to be demolished as part of the Caltongate development.

Ebenezer would not, I think, be pleased at this council's planning decisions.
