Mother's Day

Leaving to catch buses out to my parents' house and help prepare a celebratory lunch.

The sunny start to the day was a boon and a blessing, and boded well. What followed was a lovely day of family nonsense and good food, and astonishing success in persuading Mum to leave (most of) the work to others.
