The Evening Walk

My husband strides along with Russet after locking up the church this evening. I was surprised, as he had not felt very well this morning and was lacking in energy! But.....the dog needs a little walk, he told me as he walked  briskly down the lane!
This morning the WI History committee met to discuss progress and plan the next stages of our proposed book on our village in the 20th Century. It has become a very absorbing project!
