A breath of fresh sea air was most welcome this afternoon after a busy morning of work in preparation for meetings in Switzerland over the next three days.

The stiff westerly breeze was whipping the white horses into a ferment at Longniddry and the windsurfers were out in force to make the most of it.

Here at Yellowcraig the headland at Gullane Point gave us some protection as we walked out and back  along this coastal  section  of the John Muir Way.

The temperatures in double figures suggests that spring really is on its way!
