Lathe

I went to an auction in the country last weekend to bid on a lathe. It went for more than double what I was prepared to bid for it. More than it was worth. I wasn't disappointed though. Something always comes up.

My good friend Ken asked me later on if I wanted to take his small lathe on loan. I wasn't keen at first. But, he doesn't really use it much any more now that he has a bigger one. So I took it. When he wants it back I will return it and then look around for something permanent.

I haven't used it yet. I must confess I have no idea where to start. I like to think I am not stupid though so I don't think it will take me long to work out.
