It was a beautiful morning, raining now so it didn't last.

Chance meeting with Freddie on the beach so the dogs are snoring away happily now.

People are so kind, 3 chance meetings this morning and each person asked after Tom and offered to help in any way they could. They also all related stories of friends or relatives who had had similar problems and were new men/mother-in-law/colleagues after the stents were put in. So the dogs and I are feeling much more cheerful now.
