Ice cold dip at Luosujärvi!

The water is not quite ice cold - actually it is about 1˚C. It is kept unfrozen by a bubbler by the steps.

You wouldn't catch me going anywhere near this pool if it wasn't in very close proximity to a steaming hot sauna. But it had to be done. The second dip was markedly easier than the first, but only managed a few strokes before deciding that valour had been maintained and a scuttle back to the sauna was in order.
