The road to the tropics

We fought our way back down south to Rovaniemi on the Arctic circle. The roads were blown clear of snow as we followed the Swedish border, but on turning east we had to negotiate a number of drifts. At Roivaniemi we discovered the flights were all cancelled due to the norwegian pilots strike so had to take the train the remaining 800km. You suddenly begin to realise how big a country Finland really is.
