Spring flowers

The crocus plants in the village centre looked very bright and cheery as I passed the other day, so decided I must go back to blip them.

Forgot all about it until this morning, and as I left church it was damp and miserable.  The groups of flowers were still bright and pretty, but a little battered by the rain.

The post at the back of the flowers holds a commemorative plaque about an oak tree planted by the Village Society for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012.

It is bright and sunny now, perhaps I should have waited a while!
