Newport Wetlands.

We didn't let the morning rain put us off, but what better place to visit than the Wetlands? A lovely four and a half mile walk along the Wales Coast Path looking out across the Severn Estuary. 
We met an old Welsh farmer putting his 10 week old lambs out to pasture and then had Welsh cakes with coffee at the visitor centre. You can't say we're not embracing the way off life - we are even looking at possible retirement properties....
