Beautiful birthday girl

J is 40 today. The celebrations started in a nearby wine bar at 6pm, then eleven of us came back to our flat to eat, drink and party.

Mr hazelh and I had prepared two quiches, a french onion tart, three salads, home-baked bread, and a delicious rich chocolate birthday cake. We also served cold meat, cheese and oatcakes. It all went down very well with a good supply of the fizzy stuff (hic!)

My blip is of the birthday girl just before we sat down to supper. Gbees was amongst the guests and blipped the supper table.
