Scandinavian Sunday

So after a lie-in and a quick trot around the Botanic Garden with our weekend guest K, Mr hazelh and I headed off for our last social engagement of the weekend. This was lunch at the flat of our friends M and D. The other guests were not-long married L and G.

M is Danish so there was an obligatory bottle of Akvavit to accompany a delicious spread of breads, pickled fish, pâté, meat balls, eggs, tomatoes, red cabbage, beetroot, gherkins, and brownies for pudding. 

It really was a wonderful way to spend a sunny almost-spring afternoon.

Exercise today: walk around the Botanic Garden (with my ankle complaining - probably because I was on my feet in the kitchen so much yesterday afternoon).
