Purple hellebore

It was such a lovely day, I spend some time in the garden in the afternoon clearing an area by the pond and planting some wild flower seeds. 

The purple hellebores are looking beautiful - the colours are suprisingly similar to the ones in my crocheted hexagon yesterday!

Still no frogspawn in the pond - just lots of males lurking at the bottom waiting for the females to turn up.
