Sea of toys

Today we went to Lepe Country Park, the closest sandy beach to us I think. Very windy and very cold. Many a sandcastle built by grant and destroyed by sammy. Lucie enjoyed just walking around in the sand, using me for support of course. A lovely brunch in the cafe where they sell loads of colourful toys and buckets and spades. We told sammy to pick a toy and out of EVERYTHING he picked a rubber egg, we even said he could get another toy too but no, he was more than happy with a slightly scuffed looking egg. Made us laugh! I think he's already on the mend thankfully :)
