Excitement overload

The kids have been obsessed with 'auntie Lydie's room' since I made up the bed and tried to stop it looking too much like the house dumping ground (which it is). I found a bargain lamp and radio in a charity shop which just make it feel a bit nicer.
Both kids went to school this morning. I knew Luce would be ok but was a bit concerned about Sam. Explained our weekend to them and that Sammy still had remnants of the rash and they very kindly said they'd keep a closer eye on him. Both kids had glowing reports when I picked them up, was definitely the change they needed.
An evening of listening to the radio in auntie Lydie's room whilst the kids 'tested' her bed and played with the lamp :)
