Remnants of spring.....

these are the spent seed pods from the lilacs. This is as good as it got today. It was a heat wave and we had some melting. Still about three feet in the front lawn but hey a foot down is nothing to ignore.
Today was relatively eventless. Unlike yesterday.
Yesterday was filled with strange things. The market was again filled with awesome people. One who shared her singing skills with us. Yup she won. A man who asked to play "Wayfaring stranger". With him. Children good golly there were children. Some were awesome. Some were irritating as all hell.
Not all children are adorable and well behaved.
We went to Biddeford to watch our bandmate Dan play in another band. Hence yesterday's blip. Too scary to think about right now........

I did come up with some names for our next cd.
Yup it's time for a list.
1) pink stars, Purple Hearts.
2) empty plastic egg
3) half chewed carrot ( left by a child who liked us)
4) apron strings
5) home made sausage
6) beef jerky
7) applesauce cookies
8) bag of potatoes
9) ill behaved children
10) please don't touch the sign
11) the uke is not a toy
12) I have a new shaker
13) wow that IS a big cucumber
14) my purples don't match
15) neither do my stripes.
16) I wear my yoga outfit everywhere and don't do yoga.
17) the closest I come is lifting a wine glass.
18) kale tastes best when it is cooked with bacon

We aren't sold on any......well except lucky 13.
