Today was the St Nazaire Parade.
With platoons from HMS Tyne and 42 Commando attending along with the various Association Standards and the Veterans platoon it was by a long way the largest parade for years.
When you add the sixty-five odd 'dignitaries' it was little wonder that the parade head reached the Watersports Centre as the tail was arriving at KCM Church!!
Prior to the main event around a dozen attended Falmouth Cemetery to place wreaths upon the graves of AB Savage VC and MEM Parkes, both casualties of the 'Greatest Raid'.
Elsewhere the devastating news of this afternoon will be 'Blipped' tomorrow.
