Surfing weather?

It's been a pretty horrible cold windy day here in the North East! The only benefit was the effect of the wind on the breakers at Aberdeen beach. I can't remember the last time I was here but as I had a meeting in Aberdeen today in this part of town I took the opportunity to make this view today's blip. There is no doubt that Aberdeen's long sandy beach is pretty spectacular and if our weather was less bracing the esplanade might well be lined with hotels, bars and restaurants Tenerife style. In many ways I'm glad it isn't!
