Wellies & flowers
Saturday of a weekend away in St Monans with friends and, after a long lie and lazy breakfast, the afternoon saw us walk along the Fife Coastal Path from St Monans to Pittenweem. Unlike most of Scotland (from what we later gathered) it was mostly dry - just the odd shower - but very windy.
Thankfully the wind was at our backs on the 'outward' journey but our walk back to St Monans was into the teeth of the gale. As a result and despite the overcast conditions, we took lots of photographs during the early part of our walk and none on the way back.
St Monans has a small but colourful Wellie Boot Garden (the 'plant pots' are either Wellington boots or in the shape of Wellington boots) and I've decided to make this my photo of the day.
