Changes

New regulations regarding hygiene and safety have meant that all the traditional wooden chiringuitos (beach bars) along the coast here have been replaced by new builds.  Here is an example close to us.  It will open at Easter.  It is still right on the beach, with wonderful sea views, but all the character has gone.

On the upside, although we never ate at the old one, all our neighbours said the food was good.  So we will try it.  Who knows, it might become our favourite eatery.  And, after all, from the inside looking out who would know the difference?
