The first lemon harvest!

I decided they must be ripe... Philip and I bought this lemon tree nearly exactly a year ago and tonight I picked the 3 lemons that have been ripening in the patio window over the winter! JTWSharpe (who loves eating raw lemon, which always made Philip wince!) tried a slice and thought it was tasty but mild!

I am glad they were not too bitter - there are enough things in life which leave a bitter taste...

The rest have been sliced and frozen ready for Mum and Dads G&T when they visit in April.
