From lemons to oranges!

This Year 1 boy arrived with an orange he had found in the supermarket that had an unusual shape and he had drawn a cheeky face to match his own on it! 

Philip loved the fact that many of the fruit and vegetables in French supermarkets were not 'uniform' in shape and size and were just their natural selves! And I agree! The 'food miles' they travel are usually much less than in the UK and it is much easier to buy local produce.

Apparently it tasted good too - as the poor little orange man was devoured at break time!
