A Wedding Shower Gift

Number 3 son’s fiancée is having a wedding shower this weekend and I have had this little porcelain box specially made for her as a gift.

My friend Jessie hand paints these extraordinary Limoges boxes. Each one is made to order and can include special messages on the inside and the bottom to commemorate any kind of special occasion.   My future daughter-in-law’s favorite flowers are sunflowers and her favorite color is pink, so that is what we have here.   The white design on the sides of the box is raised.  Jessie's final photos of this are much better than mine, but I wanted to take my own for my blip before I gift wrap it.
