Great Grandmamas shoes and big boy pants

What a tiring day, I am absolutely exhausted!

This picture is of Euan trying on Grandmas shoes that he found lying in the hall. He even tried to do up the buckles before showing off how well he could walk in them.

Up at 7 as usual, then made a picnic to take out to Easter Anguston Farm, run by the VSA. It was a lovely place and lovely weather too. We saw the animals, had our picnic and Euan played at the play area with a handful of other children. He slept in the car the minute we drove away from the place and had a good hour by the time I had stopped at asda and got some stuff for tea.

An afternoon spent in the garden, Euan playing with whoever he could get as we were all busy with various things, Diane studying and being easily distracted by Euan, and the rest of us doing some wedding stuff in the sunshine. I was constantly reapplying the suncream to Euan and me and I have a slight tan now and no burnt bits, and Euan still appears to be untouched by the sun. The suncream has taken a fair battering this last few days so I might even have to buy more if we have a summer like this (fingers crossed, but not hopeful!)

He was tired tonight too, up to bed bang on 7.30. Didn't hear a peep out of him and when I went up at 8 to change into comfy clothes, he was sound asleep and looking hot so I opened the window again and no covers tonight.

I forgot to say, potty training started unintentionally today. It went really well, just one proper accident and that was in the garden so from 7 til 7, he had big boy pants on and used the potty successfully most of the day. It was all because he point blank refused to get his nappy on and if I tried to force it, he got really upset so I just gave up and decided to do it. We will see how it goes tomorrow, I need to go buy him some more big boy pants as even though he did well, he went through a few pairs today.

I am very tired tonight so away to bed now. I have back blipped to here
