out for high tea

Grandma had her birthday before she came up to visit so Aunties C and D and I took her out for high tea. We ate very well and Euan came home exhausted and went up to bed with only one "back to bed Euan" required!

This is a picture of keeping him entertained before the food arrived. He stood all his cars on their ends and I read him Thomas the Tank Engine. He really only likes one page in particular, where some trucks are being naughty, making a snobby diesel engine pull them, but they all have their brakes on. They all shout "pull, pull, pull" and giggle. Euan thinks this is very funny and had Auntie Diane and me very confused the first time he was looking for the "pool page"!
