I am Merloc

This is one of my favorite painted street scenes. This fish guy is just so crazy.

Someone added the 'I am Merloc' voice bubble (in white) a while ago and of course he is Merloc - he couldn't have been anything else.

After a few months the council cleaners removed the graffiti tag line - I was so sad - cause I loved the casual brilliance of the add on, and the thought that Merloc had found himself.

I even contemplated sneaking down at night to repaint the sadly missing words - but before long 'I am Merloc' reappeared - this time in green. I'm not sure if it was redone by the original person, or if someone else felt it missing and needed to return. Either way, I'm glad its back.
