Languid

Here's the cat (again), lying just above a heating vent and looking like a little master of the universe.

I love the word 'languid' and think he's doing it justice here. It's amazing how similar he looks and acts to the big cats you see on documentaries; wild lions, tigers and leopards.

I don't think that house cats are that far removed from their larger counterparts. Whether it's lounging around on top of a tallboy, stretched out lazily on the sun (waiting...), or hunting moths and skinks in the shadows. Or jumping on my head when he's annoyed.

With attitude like his, I'm really thankful he's not jungle sized!
