Woodland Walk

Two friends I have known since the early seventies both came over so we could go for a walk.

One travelled from near Manchester and the other from the other side of Stafford.  We have only got together once in recent years and it was marvellous to see them again.

I took them through my favourite haunts, from my home.  We walked along the bridlepath where I take my snow photos. Then we followed the Cannock to Woodhouses bridlepath towards the Woodland Trust, Pipe Hall Farm area.

After a splendid walk and a great catch up chat, we went back for lunch - the star of which was my friend's delicious chocolate cake (with tiny eggs for decoration.)

A thoroughly good day out.
