A beautiful day

My Dad was due to have an operation today but it was cancelled as an emergency came in so not sure when he will have it done now as all the office staff had finished by the time my Dad was sent home.

So after the Puffin Pool we decided to take a drive to Ullapool as the forecast was for sun nearly all day. It was beautiful with snow still on the hill tops, deer roaming through the glens, eagles and buzzards soaring over head. We went for several walks taking in the views and it was hot enough for me to have short sleeves.
We had a coffee and a scone in the Ferry Inn in Ullapool with a view across Loch Broom and the small fishing boats bobbing about as the tide came in.
We drove along the other side of the Loch through small hamlets including one called 'Letters'. Super reflections and it was so calm. We had to stop for chickens and sheep to cross the Road.
This photo was taken from one of the dams. They are full at the moment probably the most water I have seen in them.
Tomorrow is meant to be good too, Bring it on !!!
