sock juice

After a hard day's tramping the streets I take off my shoes, foot sore I peel off my sodden socks and wring them into a crystal glass. A squeeze of lemon and a dash of tabasco. Maybe a cheeky wee stick of celery. Then I retire to my easy chair and sip my funky sock juice, reminiscing about the day that has passed beneath my feet.
