Could have been a contender....

This is an example of a good idea very badly executed.

Some lazy sod with a circular saw did a bodger job and made a complete dog's b*****k's of it.
A few hours work with chisels and a mallet could have produced something a bit special and would have been far more satisfying.
I wouldn't mind but it is in a public area (a pub car park) so some Philistine must think that it's okay.
As an aside, I think it looks like a truncated duck, or one of those Australian platypussies, or whatever the plural of platypus is.
