A look back in time.
A great day spent with good friends which involved a longish walk in icy, windy conditions on Dartmoor with horizontal rain at times. This is a marker on the Drizzlecombe Stone Row, an ancient pathway, and is said to date back to Neolithic times. In the background can be seen field boundaries marked out in rock and similarly dated to times when this area of moor was actively farmed. Nearby was a derelict cottage which was "brought back to life" and used in the film "War Horse" together with the stunning local scenery.
