The squirrel Cheltenham Gold Cup
With St Patrick's Day looming, the Cheltenham races have been on most of the week and horses, their owners and racing fans (mainly from Ireland) have been gathering to drink gallons of Guinness and gamble!
This is far from the best quality picture of the day but as these two weren't chasing each other too fast, I managed to catch them as they streaked across the shed roof, possibly chasing their own happy dreams and each other's tails.
You can definitely tell that spring is in the air when a young squirrel's fancy turns to thoughts of love! The same goes for the birds and it's quite comical to watch a couple of pigeons lumbering around after each other from one side of the garden to the other. I have to close my eyes feeling quite embarrassed sometimes!
It's like Fifty Shades of Grey out there. Actually, I have no intentions of going to see that film. I think it's just for frustrated old bags and I'm not quite there yet!
I shall finish there today. It was with relief I set my 'out of office' message before I logged off -
'I have finished for today and am now on annual leave until TUESDAY THE 31ST OF MARCH at 6:40AM. If your request is urgent, please raise a call with the ICT Service Desk. Thank you.'
I avoided adding 'Woohoo!' and 'FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM!!!!!'
