Last day

A change in the weather today brought a dramatic sky which was worth capturing.

I thought about doing this in B/W but I thought a little colour looked good.  It was pretty mono anyway but a Silver Efex layer in PS with a luminosity blending mode made the sky drama really pop.  It's best viewed large with a black background

It was a great day's skiing for our last day until the light went completely flat mid-afternoon (only skiers will really understand the significance of that!)

We therefore decided to quit while were ahead and got back at 3.30pm.  

Only 20km skied to day but the stats for the week are as follows:

107  (68 different)

Vertical height skied:
32,275 metres 

Distance skied:
176 km


Makes a £200 lift pass seem quite good value
