First Trip (2015.061)

Jonathan had to present himself at Waverley Station at 7.20am for his first overnight school trip. A train journey to York, learning about Vikings, and visits to other attractions.

He was nervous. looking forward to the trip and the bounties it beheld, but preferring that he didn't have to spend a night away from his family. But that, like many things, is a rite of passage through which he had to go. And while he was very glad to be home, he had a great time.
