Aunt Joan

Today's the day ........................... to party

There was a gathering today - to celebrate the 90th birthday of my Aunt Joan.

She's the only remaining aunt that I have, so for that reason alone, she's very special - but she's quite a remarkable lady in many ways.  She has always been very fit and active throughout her long life. 

The room was full of people who had known her in various ways and many had travelled a fair distance just to be able to wish her well.  The feeling was that we would all be back to help her celebrate her 100th in due course ......................!
