The pile of photographs is lying on the kitchen table where your sister left them whilst clearing out your parents' things. On top is a picture of a good-looking young man with dark hair and a crooked smile. You pick it up to look at and, for a few seconds, fooled by the back-in-fashion hairstyle and the newly fashionable "retro effect" photo style, you look at your own Grandfather as a real person rather than as the old man you remember.
