LadyG and Fashion on the Ration

I had a lovely afternoon with lovely LadyG, visiting the very interesting and informative Fashion on the Ration exhibition at the Imperial War Museum.  Well worth a visit if you are in the area!

The IWM looked completely different from the last time I visited (a couple of years ago, maybe longer) and we found it  to be quite a maze to get around on our search for medicinal cake before leaving for home.  Thank the Lord there was more than a crumb left, by the time we found the cafe again for the second time, where we sat, resting our weary old limbs, cake-eating and chatting, until the chairs were stacked on top of the tables and they announced that the museum was closing.  How rude!  Time always goes by extremely quickly in the company of the marvellous LadyG!
