Mother's Day

I had a call from my son Daniel this morning at 11.00 a.m. Term has finished at Oxford, but he's staying on there for another two weeks, but said he'd come down to London to meet me today for a few hours, as it was Mother's Day, so that was a lovely surprise!

We walked across Hyde Park to the Victoria and Albert Museum, had a wander around, had coffee and cake (of course) in the beautiful cafe, then I waved him off on the bus back to Oxford. Great to see him again!

My other son James had bought me presents too, when I arrived home, which was lovely!  So I've had a very good Mother's Day and hope all you Mummys have had a great day too.
