Back on the nest

This afternoon I took another bus home from work than the usual one and rode past the area where a pair of swans have successfully raised a family for the last two years. From the bus I could see that one of the birds was sitting on the same nest again this year. When I got home, I took my camera and rode back on my bicycle to take a few photos.

Most days our weather is still quite chilly and it doesn't look like it's going to improve yet if the forecast for next week is correct so hopefully there aren't any eggs in the nest yet.
