Thursday, March 12, 2015 -- Young Love

This young couple live across from our Cayucos home, in her grandparents' vacation home. Their wedding day is this coming May 29th, which is our 50th wedding anniversary.

We watch them and are transported back to a time long ago when we were young, immature, naive, and the wonder of 50 years of marriage seemed so unlikely, so impossible, and it was impossible without the miracle power of God's love and the Holy Spirit's glue that held us together during those times when we've been falling apart.

Young love is so precious! Old lovers are so very rare! I want to grow old with Mr. Fun, but I don't want to grow up!

P. S. We exited the Inland Empire this afternoon headed for the Central Coast for a long weekend. The 5th Annual Sea Glass Festival will be this weekend in Cayucos.
