A rose for Mum...

...on Mothering Sunday.

Except my Mum has decided to go away with her oldest friend for a 'girlie' weekend! Never mind, we'll celebrate on her return.

But it's probably just as well that she went away as I would have been a very negligent daughter today! My entire day has been taken up by laboriously copying my blip journal entries for the last 600+ days.

After reading some rather surprising comments made on quite a few blips yesterday evening, I then went into the forum page and read this and this. Rather worrying, hence my decision to back-up my journal! Just in case!!

As others have said, the thing that I would miss most of all, if blipfoto should disappear overnight, is 'chatting' to such a friendly bunch of people. Having looked around, the 365 project looks like an alternative way to do this. If blipfoto folds, then you should be able to find me there, under the same username (hopefully!). Alternatively, if you would like to keep in touch, let me know and I'll find a way of letting you have my email address.

Let's hope this is all just speculation and that blipfoto and blippers live on for many more years to come!!
