Cemetery Sunday
I can't remember the tag for this. Anyone?
Bhueler? Bheuler?
I was so excited for this challenge as, well , we lots of cemeteries. We also still have a lot of snow. Dead people don't like to give up their snow. I was wearing my hiking boots as I spent a ton of money on them to wear in Oz, because some crazy man walks a hundred miles a day. I am wearing these a lot to get the wear out of them but, I digress. It appeared as though the ice was hard on the top of the three feet or more snow. Yeah it wasn't. Sunk down to my bum. Schlogged through the rest of it to get totally uninspired photos of a 400 year old cemetary in the flattest light ever. About 25 shades of gray.
( cut it out! Not that).
I found another cemetary about 5 miles away. I loved this stone. I also lightened it. It was irritatingly dark. Did I mention we have lots of cemeteries here.? Dead people, we never run out. Beautiful 2 or 300 year old oaks shading them ( blocking out any semblance of light...) they start about 400 years ago. Behind this one are slate stones from early 1700s.
On another note,
Some more excitement this morning and Dad don't you DARE tell Donal I told this story. Dad reads my blip every day.
At breakfast this morning I watched my husband chat up a woman who I know thought he was trying to pick her up. Did the whole touching the hair and touching his arm thing (ladies you know what I mean. ) He was oblivious. Just being a nice guy waiting for the bathroom. Also deaf as a haddock. Heard half of what she said. He left while I waited for my dad. She asked the waitress all about him. She spoke then looked at me and gave a little wave knowing i had watched the whole exchange. I smiled. I would have taken money. Damn.
Oh well I would have to walk home anyway.
Well I have rambled on......
So good morning to the wonderful land of Oz and g'day and good evening to the north.
Hang in there people please. i did back myself up on 365 photo under my name. Oh and there is Facebook. I opened it for a while.
XOXO people until tomorrow.
